Dana Marchionne has dedicated the last 10 years of her life learning and teaching Italian.
Her first encounter with Italian was at Rutgers University where she later had the opportunity to study at the University of Urbino, Marche, Italy.
It was there that she fell in love not with someone but with something: Italian language and culture.
As soon as she graduated from Rutgers University, she moved to Italy where she collaborated with an Italian entrepreneur to launch an english school where she taught for a year.
Meanwhile, she spent time with Italian families teaching English; on one hand this helped her to improve her teaching skills and on the other, she had a great opportunity to improve her Italian.
Since then she travels to Italy every summer to foster her Italian skills and to discover new things.
She has been teaching Italian in New Jersey Public Schools for almost five years and it has always been her dream to share her passion for Italy and Italian culture with others.
She currently lives in Hoboken and is now ready to make her dream come true.
